Just gotta say it one more time in case you don’t know, PG stands for Phantom Gaming so Z490 PG Velocita a new member of Phantom Gaming family which seems to have taken over the product position of previous Fatality series. I don’t really know much but Phantom Gaming series motherboards are designed for the gaming market with no doubt, trying to provide great features with and extraordinary performance.

I had a quick check on ASRock official website and Z490 PG Velocita seems to be the most high-end board in this series. So let’s take a quick look at this brand new board.

As usual, the color theme of the board stays in black while red and gray are selected as accent colors. Personally, I think it looks nice. Unlike Z490 Taichi, Z490 PG Velocita does NOT have any metal shield on the back side of the board.

You can find the DP port, the HDMI port, the PS/2 for both mouse and keyboard, 6 USB ports, dual LAN, and audio jacks on the rear IO panel.

This board does NOT have built-in WiFi and Blutooth but you can install the WiFi & Blutooth card by yourself. The rear IO panel even has reserved the place for the antenna.

Let’s start from the dual 8 pin 12V power connector and take a close look at this board.
